JPM Productions, Inc. opened its doors in 1979 in order to train and educate Emergency Medical Technicians in life-or-death situations.  To better prepare Emergency Response Personnel for "real world" situations, JPM provided extremely realistic disaster exercises utilizing never-before-seen "Special Trauma" makeup applications.  Motion Picture production experience, under the tutelage of Spectacular Effects International founder, Vern Hyde and Bob Shelly, added even more realism to JPM's unique disaster creations.  Staging Medical Scenarios for physicians along with other medical personnel then led to assisting Law Enforcement Agencies in their life training programs.  Agencies started realizing how beneficial JPM's realistic scenarios were.  Using makeup and special effects garnered JPM two NATAS Emmy awards and four other nominations. Since 1980 JPM also has over 12 Telly awards as well highlighting their television production work and technical expertice. Because of the highly visual training experiences JPM produces, the media likes to follow the exploits of this one-of-a-kind production company.  Whether it is a 'blood and guts' training program or a terrifyingly scary Halloween event... the media loves to work with JPM. With over twenty five years under thier belt, JPM still produces its core Disaster Simulations but has also branched out to provide a wide array of award winning production services in  television (both standard definition and now high definition) along with  live shows.  Fright Fest, the #1 Halloween event in the nation, is produced annually by JPM for Six Flags Theme Parks in Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas and other markets.
